Flies

In spring at Kyminsuu was played Lord of the flies. I had the opportunity to help with costumes and the set. At first I made school dress to the character named Piggy and after that I made skirts and ties for others. 

Also I made the pig. Yes, whole natural size pig that they needed to kill at stage. A head removed with knife and pieces grilled on an open fire. Also girls needed to get blood out and spread it on each other's faces. So great challenge!! =} It was really fun to made and at that point when I had my entire hand inside of that pigs stomach I thought "this really is my dream job!"

 I was watching the opening night and the play was gorgeous and terrible. It is not usually good thing when you tell to one of the main actors that "you were horrible!" but at this case character was Jack. Directors were Heini Salopelto and Marko Mäkinen. Main actors were Vilma Lammenaho (Jack), Lotta Aaltonen (Piggy) and Shanina Tuominen (Ralph).
